I’m Amanda, and I love web

I’m a web and graphic designer based in Wichita, KS. I like to do a little bit of everything when it comes to web and design; variety keeps me motivated! Throughout my experience as a designer, I have taken a strong interest in UX design. Design isn’t just about making something pretty; if a user can’t use it, it’s useless.

Aside from design, I am a HUGE fan of The Office. I would love to talk about your favorite character or episode – unless it’s Nelly or Robert California – we can’t be friends.

My Career So Far

My career began at RSM Marketing (previously 360ideas), 10 years ago. I began as a Web Support Specialist straight out of college to get my foot in the door as a designer. Assisting clients with their technical issues and updating their websites began my love for web. Working for a smaller company gave me the opportunity to learn from senior designers/developers and increase my skill-set. I learned quickly that I love to help others and take in as much knowledge as possible – even if it wasn’t part of my job. Solving a problem, whether it be design or dev, is what keeps my day going.

Fast forward 10 years later, I was managing and running a team of designers, developers, email marketing specialists and website support technicians. I enjoy being a mentor, but I also love doing the work itself. I am ready to take on new challenges in my career!
